Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between Brett Carter Events ABN 44 558 682 716 (Organiser) and the person or organisation agreeing to exhibit (Exhibitor) at the Greater Western Sydney Careers Market. By participating in this event, the Exhibitor agrees to the following terms and conditions.

Participation and Bookings. Participation is subject to acceptance by the Organiser at its complete discretion and completion of the booking and registration process. A booking cannot be transferred, shared with, or on-sold to another organisation. The Exhibitor agrees to staff and continually keep its stand open throughout the Careers Market.

Payment of Fees. On confirmation of registration, the Organiser will issue an invoice for the Registration Fee. If full payment is not made within 14 days of the due date, the Organiser reserves the right to make the space available to other exhibitors. The Exhibitor must not occupy space until all monies owing have been fully paid.

Cancellation by the Exhibitor. A 50% refund is available with written notice by no later than 19 April 2027. No refunds will be provided for cancellations after that date.

Cancellation by the Organiser. If the Careers Market is cancelled by the Organiser for any unforeseen reason (including a Force Majeure Event), a credit or refund will be provided on a sliding scale depending on how close to the event the cancellation occurs — ranging from a matched credit at 90 days or less out, up to a 100% refund if cancelled more than 241 days out.

Custom Stands. Any request to erect a custom stand must be submitted in writing for approval no later than 8 weeks prior to the event. No custom stands may be erected without prior written approval.

Exhibitor Obligations. The Exhibitor must not obstruct other exhibitors or public space, or install machinery, coffee/popcorn machines or food preparation devices without approval. Distribution of food or beverages requires approval from the Organiser and venue at least 8 weeks prior. No inflatables, aerosol cans, or hazardous items are permitted. Furniture, signage and promotional material must stay within the allocated space; aisles and public areas must remain clear. Exhibitors may only exhibit their own products or services, must leave the space clean and tidy, and must comply with OH&S requirements, venue guidelines, and all State and Commonwealth regulations. The Organiser may refuse admission or eject an Exhibitor for breach of these terms or for posing a security risk or nuisance.

Insurance. The Exhibitor must hold public liability insurance of at least $10 million and produce a certificate of currency on demand.

Changes to the Careers Market. The Organiser reserves the right to amend dates, venue, hours or format (including moving online) as required by law, and to determine or alter the location of the Exhibitor's stand.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnity. To the extent permitted by law, the Exhibitor releases the Organiser from claims arising from the Exhibitor's participation or a Force Majeure Event, and indemnifies the Organiser against claims arising from the Exhibitor's breach of these terms, use of the event, or any damage, loss, injury or death caused by the Exhibitor's acts or omissions.

Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, with disputes litigated in the appropriate NSW court. The Organiser may amend these terms from time to time; the Exhibitor is bound by the terms in force at the time of registration or attendance.
